Rooted in Lloydminster
From sponsoring local sports teams and charity organizations to contributing to new community sports fields, our commitment to our hometown runs deep. We believe that when our community thrives, we all do. Over three decades later, Classic remains dedicated to delivering top-tier service, supporting local families, and leading with heart.
A Lasting Legacy.
In a city built on hard work, strong values, and grit, Classic Oilfield Service Ltd. stands as a proud example of what it means to grow with—and give back to—Lloydminster.
Founded in September 1993 by four founders with oilfield experience tracing back to 1974, Classic started with a clear goal: provide reliable, efficient, and honest services while building lasting relationships.
"We were a small company with a big vision. It didn’t take long for the company to grow. Time flies."
— Adam Johnstone, President & Co-Founder

Driven by People & Community
What began as a four-man startup has evolved into a company led by 7 owners and a team of over 45 dedicated employees. Working side-by-side every day, our leadership has maintained a tight-knit “work family” culture choosing to protect jobs and support staff through industry downturns rather than issuing mass layoffs.
"Most of the team has been here for decades. It’s the kind of place you want to work—where you know the owners personally and work alongside them every day. It’s not some big, faceless corporation. They truly support us, and they support the community."
— Daniela Tobler, Business Development Manager
